1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Hype Utility Gears website and any purchase made through it or at our Penang store. By placing an order you confirm that you accept these terms.

This page is maintained by Hype Utility Gears and may be updated from time to time. The version published here at the time of your order applies to that order.

2. Orders & Acceptance

An order becomes binding only once we have confirmed it by email. We may decline or cancel an order where an item is out of stock, where pricing is clearly incorrect, or where we suspect fraudulent activity.

• Product images are for reference; colourways may vary slightly between production batches.
• Stock is shared between our online store and our physical shop, so availability may change during checkout.
• You are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact details.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by our payment partners — senangPay (FPX, Visa, Mastercard, GrabPay, ShopeePay, ShopBack) and Atome for instalments.

We do not store your full card details. Any instalment plan is a contract between you and the relevant payment provider and is subject to their own terms.

4. Delivery

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 working days. Delivery timelines quoted at checkout are estimates provided by our courier partners and are not guaranteed.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please inspect your parcel on arrival and report any transit damage within 48 hours.

5. Returns & Exchanges

Unworn footwear in its original box may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery. Shoes showing outsole wear, creasing or odour cannot be accepted.

Sale items, socks, nutrition and other hygiene-sensitive products are final sale unless faulty.

• Contact us first so we can issue a return reference.
• Return shipping is at your cost unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–14 working days of inspection.

6. Manufacturing Warranty

Manufacturing defects are covered under the relevant brand's warranty terms. Normal midsole compression, outsole wear and upper abrasion from use are not defects.

Warranty assessments are made by the brand distributor; we will handle the submission on your behalf.

7. Membership & Referral Rewards

Membership points, cashback and referral commissions are promotional benefits, not cash. Figures shown on our membership page are illustrative examples only.

Rewards may be adjusted or withdrawn if the qualifying order is cancelled, returned or refunded, or where we detect self-referral or other abuse of the programme.

8. Content & Intellectual Property

All text, imagery, layout and branding on this site belong to Hype Utility Gears or its licensors and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission. Brand names and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

Editorial content in our journal is general guidance, not medical or training advice.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our liability in relation to any order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Governing Law & Contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact page and we will respond within two working days.
