Caring For Performance Footwear In Malaysian Humidity
Heat, rain and humidity are hard on foam and mesh. Here is how to keep your pairs looking and performing their best.

Dry Properly, Never Fast
After a wet run, remove the insoles, loosen the laces and let the shoes air dry away from direct sunlight. Heat degrades adhesives and hardens foam.
Clean Gently
A soft brush, cool water and a little mild soap handle almost everything. Skip the washing machine — the drum destroys midsole structure and knit uppers.
Know When To Retire A Pair
Most trainers give 500 to 800km. Watch for creasing across the midsole, flattened outsole lugs and a ride that suddenly feels harsh rather than lively.
